Adopt Aubree Faith Russell a Tan/Yellow/Fawn - with Black Labrador Retriever dog

Location:
Portland, OR
Description:

This loving puppy is so photogenic – and it doesn’t hurt that she always looks like she just told you the corniest joke, either! Aubree has the most expressive face, and though it may seem like she gives a lot of side-eye, it’s because she’s always watching you, looking for attention or a chance to give you kisses. Aubree has almost always got a big smile on her wrinkly face, and with her long pink tongue hanging out, she’s irresistible! Aubree is very calm and somewhat shy at first, but you can tell that this girl loves to meet new people. She warms up quickly and approaches new people cautiously, but with low tail wags and lots of licks. (If you have a treat in your hand, it’s even better, lol.) Aubree has a mellow attitude and seems to take everything in stride – she was curious of, but not phased by loud noises of construction work or other dogs. Aubree’s foster mom says she’s happiest running around outside, then coming inside and laying on the couch right next to you. She also reports Aubree is fully house trained and knows where her potty spots are! Her foster mom says she’s been very easy to train. She sits on command even when she is excited. She loves to play with other dogs or by herself. . She loves activity and being outdoors. She comes inside and goes in the crate when asked. She scratches to go out and scratches to come in and never has any accidents! She is still young and is curious and has to watched. She’s a smart girl! She is definitely an expert level snuggler, and we are here for every bit of it. She’s great with other dogs, so would fit right into a home with one or two dogs already. She has the best attitude, and hanging out with Aubree is like hanging with your bestie – nothing but relaxing fun. Adopt Aubree and prepare to fill up your camera roll with nothing but close-ups of this entertaining and charming girl’s many expressions and glamour poses. Someone is going to be very lucky to have all of this gentle girl’s love and affection! Aubree is currently about 10 months old and around 30 pounds, and this may be as big as she will get. We think she may be a Bassett Hound/Cur mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves his/her life as well as the life of another in its place. Aubree is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.)• A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week)• One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan• 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan• Coupons for a fun visit to Petco• Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup!
