I'm Booker and I'm 4 years old! I am a sweet boy that LOVES to play with toys! I am very treat motivated and I already know how to sit, lay down, and go to my kennel. I am a loyal, goofy, and playful guy that can also settle down for bedtime cuddles! My past wasn't the brightest: I came from an abusive home, was heartworm positive and then on the euthanasia list at another shelter. My temporary family saved me and I completed all my heartworm treatments, so I am a healthy boy now! My temporary family had to surrender me to another shelter because I wasn't very good with their kids under five years old. Because of my past, I can be nervous around strangers, but if you have food in hand, I call you my best friend! I would do well in a home with older children, and I get along great with other dogs and cats!
