Update: Carmela is the absolute biggest sweetheart and such a good girl. She wants nothing but cuddles and kisses and to be by your side. She's so good in the house, curious but generally leaves stuff alone. Good with house guests. Barely barks at anything. She's super adaptable and not afraid of anything (except ice cream trucks, she does not like them, and tbf, I get it I think she'll probably get used to them with more exposure though) She even saw a horse on a walk and was just wiggly and excited and curious!She walks great, barely any pulling, and greets both people and dogs politely with soft wiggles and excitement. She does want to meet everybody she sees, so walks in busy areas can be a little slow, haha. Medium energy.She goes in a crate/pen no problem and is totally fine being left alone, no barking or whining. She loves fetch and tug and will bring toys to you to play but can also keep herself busy with a chew toy or a Kong.She knows some basic commands and is a quick learner with new ones! Food motivated, I've been using training treats and little chunks of apple. She learned "lie down and "stay already and is working on "leave it.She's just a big ol love bug. She's got so much charm, she definitely understands everything you're saying to her. She also seems incapable of lying down without splooting out her back legs, which is the most adorable thing She'll be an absolutely incredible fit for anyone, I think she'd love another dog around to show her the ropes or older kids to play with, but she'd be happy with anyone who'll show her love!
