Looks like: Miniature SchnauzerMale, 9 years old, 19 pounds A charming and well-trained gentleman, Coal has a playful, silly side to offset his formal appearance. He loves his squeaky toys and is never one to say no to a game of fetch! Typical for his breed, Coal likes to say hello to other dogs and guests by barking, but is friendly and likes to say hi with sniffs after alerting those around him to a new friend arriving in the vicinity! Although Coal gets along well with other dogs, he would love a home with a person he can call his own. He currently lives with other pups, but he prefers getting attention from and playing with humans. Though this sweet boy is very mellow, he can get very excited in the presence of cats. He will be best suited in a cat-free home. He would also do best with humans over 15 years old, since the unpredictability of littler ones can scare him. Coal has no known health issues and has received regular vet care, including dentals, his whole life. Sadly, his senior guardian has been struggling with worsening Alzheimer's disease and can no longer care for Coal, so he came to POMDR to find a new loving forever home.
