Colonel is a cute one-year old male Miniature Pinscher who was brought to the HSOV on April 14, 2024 by Good Samaritans who found him on Montgomery Street in Marietta Ohio and kept him safe for the past three weeks. Colonel was not wearing a collar, and he was not microhipped. This little cutie pie has a sleek black-and-tan short smooth coat with a patch of white on his chest, a long tail, and a classic MinPin face with tan eyebrows, dark brown eyes, tan shading on his tiny slender muzzle, and extra-large erect ears. The Good Samaritans who found Colonel told us that he did well with children during the time they kept him and that he is still working on his housetraining skills. Colonel was a sweetheart for HSOV Kennel Tech Lauryn Hamilton when she accompanied him for outdoor photos shortly after his arrival .. All animals (both dogs and cats) love Lauryn. Colonel tipped the scales at 19.6 lbs. He walked fairly well on a leash. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Colonel will be held for three days so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership. Since Colonel was not reclaimed, he was neutered on May 7, 2024 and was also given rabies vaccine.
