Creed is an adorable smush of a puppy rescued locally in Connecticut along with his four brothers when their owners surrendered them into our care. Three pups have been adopted leaving just Creed and Sublime in search of their forever homes. Now that it's down to two, their personalities are really showing. Creed is the “Velcro dog” always wanting to be around his people and walking in step with them. All the pups started out very timid but he was one of the first to decide people were pretty great. He has done well meeting people of all ages. He loves crinkly toys but he doesn't need high class- his favorite things are empty water bottles and stealing foster moms empty flower pots. He's learning to fetch and enjoys chasing tennis balls and frisbees. He has recently discovered the joy of water and enjoys splashing in the kiddie pool and the frog pond in the backyard. Creed is a little chunk (the biggest of the litter at approx 24lbs) and gets very excited for meals and treats. We are working on settling before being fed. He also settles quickly in the crate with a chew bone or frozen Kong. Creed loves playing with his brother constantly but can be nervous and a bit of a loud mouth when meeting other dogs. Part of this seems to be that he is protective of Sublime because he does better when it's just him and the other dog one on one. He would be happy as an only dog getting all the attention but his adopter should still commit to socializing him with other dogs so he becomes more confident.
