Dottie is a super snuggly girl who craves human affection. She is fully housebroken, is great in her crate, sleeps through the night, and does well on her leash. She is working on not jumping up on people, but is very responsive to a gentle “no”. She is a very sweet puppy! Dottie quickly came out of her shell after arriving in her foster home and has been enjoying running around the yard with the resident dog. Her Australian Shepherd side shows when she frequently tries to herd him, and also chase all the birds, bunnies and squirrels she sees in the yard!*Dottie is in foster care on Martha’s Vineyard.The "league of thier own" litter has a reduced adoption fee for adopters to put towards training for these older group of puppies to become well rounded pups, and be the best pups they can be for their families! is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. It is most likely that both their parents were strays and mixes of some sort.If you are interested in this dog, you MUST submit an application. Sandy Paws Rescue does not a have a public shelter in Mass, so there is no building you can visit without an appointment. Our dogs live in private foster homes or boarding kennels down south until adopted, and foster care homes through out MV, Cape Cod and other parts of MA. A majority of our dogs are adopted/spoken for prior to transport and release from state mandated isolation.
