Emperor really knows how to make a first impression! He is brash but does it with such an innocent big smile it is hard to not love him. Emperor is all about the love. So much so he will jump up to kiss anyone who is near. He is a tall boy, so he really doesn't have to jump much to reach our mouths either. And his accuracy is spot on every time. Emperor knows some commands and loves to play with toys. He is really a puppy in a grown body. Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL Email XXXX@cityofchicago.org for more information. The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after time for decompression for the shelter dog.
