Meet Hank, an 8-month-old male Heeler mix.Hank is such a good boy! He has a very sweet personality and is eager to please his handler. Hank is treat responsive but is just as happy to get pets as his reward. Hank is smart and wants to be with a person, making him the perfect dog for further training. He tends to be a little more submissive and will need an adopter that wants to spend quality time with him. Hank is only 47 pounds, the perfect size for your couch, car and heart!This pet is available for adoption on 5/13/24 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-XXXX.If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
