Are you ready to fall head over heels? Meet Jackson. This stunning fellow has captured our hearts. Seriously, there's not a single bad angle on this guy! Jackson is a 2 year old, male, Pit Bull mix. He's a big boy who needs a home with plenty of space to stretch his legs and play. This smart and playful guy is eager to learn and explore with his new family. If you're willing to continue his training and show him the ropes of being a family pet, Jackson will reward you with endless love and companionship. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered. PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO STRINGENT OUT OF STATE HEALTH CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS WE ARE NOW ONLY ADOPTING TO RHODE ISLAND RESIDENTS*. We apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, due to past issues with landlords/housing/insurance, a restricted breed policy is in place for Bully breed/Pit Bull type dogs. This means that you must own your home and provide proof of homeownership to adopt a Bully breed/Pit Bull dog or puppy. While we understand that this may be an inconvenience, it is necessary to help reduce the number of devastated dogs being returned. We apologize for the inconvenience. HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: 1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and full out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm, Thursday/Friday 12-2pm, and Saturday 10am-2pm. 2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. 3, We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders:*We do not do same day adoptions.*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
