This lovely pure bred English Pointer is Jane. She is 7 years young and was surrendered to us by a hunting plantation because she was starting to show some age and they needed to replace her with younger dogs. Jane is very smart and very obedient. Not only was she an excellent, award winning bird dog but she was also used to train other, up and coming english pointers. She really deserves to ive out her life as a cherished pet -she is really is a nice, highly intellgent dog. She is great with other dogs, would be fine for kids, unsure about cats (sometimes this breed sees them as something to chase,sometimes not). Jane is up to date with shots, negative for heartworms/on prevention, spayed and crate trained. To adopt Jane, please submit an adoption application at www.myhstc.orgAdoption fee is $85 and includes all veterinary careWe prescreen all applicants prior to a meeting.
