Meet Jerome, a one year old male Husky mix. Jerome is a friendly, silly boy who loves attention. While some Husky mixes can be a bit aloof to humans Jerome enjoys his two-legged companions very much. We also believe Jerome would enjoy playing with other doggie companions as he seems very playful when he spots them on his walks. Jerome is a great size at around 45 pounds and we think he will settle in well to almost any home provided they have done some breed research. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Sunday, that's right we are open all days of the week! A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
