Hi! My name is Joy and I am from Kentucky. Joy, or Joey, is a trainer's dream! As a Border Collie/Pit Bull Terrier mix, she is super smart, athletic, and driven. Do you like to run? Bike? Explore the great outdoors? Look no further! Joey is dying to join you. This baby Leo is a social butterfly who loves everyone she meets. Full of curiosity and joie de vivre, Joey is working on containing her excitement for life. She will need a home that is committed to continuing her training and helping her get the mental, physical, and social activity (balanced with calm time!) she needs in order to be her best doggy self. Joey is incredibly eager to learn, is very food motivated, and is fun to train. Since arriving to Minnesota from Kentucky back in February, she has come so far, and as her foster, I am so proud. She would be an obedience rockstar and excel in agility or other dog sports. She might even enjoy scent work, as her terrier side loves to sniff, and she has a strong prey drive. Jojo is fully crate trained and potty trained. We've worked hard on many important skills, including recall, leash training, and learning how to relax at home, and she continues to make huge strides in all areas. Her dream home would have another dog friend for her to play with and learn from, as well as plenty of space to run and sniff around. This kid ruff ruff ruffs playing with other pups! In terms of cats, a cat-free home would be best, as her "RA RA LET'S PLAY energy is a bit much for feline friends. As for her human/s, a home with older or no children is recommended, as Joey is still a puppy who is learning manners.
