Rescued from certain death at a high-kill shelter in rural Virginia, Junebug's life was saved by a loving foster who stepped in to give her a second chance. Now, this sweet girl is ready to find her forever home where she can be the ultimate lapdog and loyal companion. Junebug is the consummate velcro dog. She loves to be wherever her person is, whether that's snuggling on the couch or following them around the house. She even tolerated a bath like a champ! Though she can be a little shy around new people at first, she quickly warms up and loves to be in their lap too. Junebug gets along well with other dogs. When out for neighborhood walks, Junebug is friendly and interested when meeting other dogs and women. She has formed a strong bond with her foster mom, preferring to be close by and showering her with affection. Junebug is a bit afraid of men at first, though with time and positive reinforcement (cheese helps!), she snuggles up with them as well! Junebug's favorite activity is cuddling. She loves giving kisses and being petted, showing little interest in toys or treats. She has the energy for walks and playful zoomies in the yard but is always happiest when she's close to her person. Her behavior is typical of a young dog just past puppyhood-no nipping or play biting, but plenty of youthful energy. Junebug walks well on a leash with her Martingale collar and is eager to please, making regular eye contact to understand what is expected of her. She is not a fan of her crate but has been well-behaved when left alone for short periods. Junebug has shown no signs of car sickness and enjoys being brushed after a bath. She is a fluffy bundle of joy with a friendly and happy disposition. If you're interested in adopting Junebug, please contact XXXX@yahoo.com today! Give Junebug a chance, and she'll reward you with endless love and snuggles. Adopt Junebug today and find your perfect cuddle buddy!
