Meet Lady! Lady is a playful, energetic German shepherd puppy who has made several dog friends here at the shelter, so she may be happy in a home with another dog to pal around with. We're told she is crate-trained, too!Some nice volunteers recently took her on a day trip - here's their report:"We had the privilege of taking Lady, an 8 month old German Shepherd puppy, on a hike to Annette Lake. She was very excited to meet us. While she hadn't figured out how to jump into the back of an SUV yet, Lady had no problem with us hoisting her up. She did well on her hour (ish) car ride and enjoyed the view. She made a mannerly exit and then off we went, literally. She has a lot of energy!! While Lady is still working on polite leash walking, she was thoughtful when I slipped and came back to check on me. She loved playing with snow balls and the look of confusion when they disappeared after she pounced on them was priceless! She also enjoyed munching on sticks! When we encountered people and dogs on the trail, Lady was very happy and excited to meet them. This sweetie was very quiet on the ride back so we thought we might have tuckered her out. The joke was on us! She waited to be let out of the car and bounded out. Lady is an amazing young, beautiful and caring puppy.
