Introducing Lisa and Lori, two super sweet sisters who have lived their entire lives together. While we realize this is a long-shot, we would like to see if we could place these girls together as they are pretty bonded and look to each other when trying to figure everything out. They were extremely shy and scared when they first came into foster but have come a long way and both love getting attention. Applications for both girls will be given priority.Hi ... Lisa and Lori here! We are looking for a forever home that will love and keep us both safe. Our previous owners dumped us in a high-kill shelter where we immediately ended up on something bad called "the list". A worker at the shelter called a local rescue to see if they could come get us immediately otherwise they said we weren't going to make it out. A volunteer with that rescue contacted BCAA to see if they could help and they said yes! We were really scared when we first came into foster but everyone has been so nice and give us yummy things called treats and lots of attention which we love. We have gotten along with all of the other dogs we have met and while we are curious about those things called cats, we haven't messed with them at all. We share a kennel and eat together with no problem, even though our foster mom has on something called a diet as we are both around 50lbs and should probably weigh between 40-45lbs. After we learned the schedule, we have done great in our kennel without any accidents and don't bark or tear up any of our bedding. We are slowly learning about a leash but it would be best if we had a fenced yard where we could take care of our business. We appear to be flat-coated retriever mixes and we are only around 18mos old.
