Meet Little Mama, a gentle two-year-old Staffordshire Terrier who, as her name suggests, has likely recently experienced motherhood, if not multiple litters. The kennel environment can be a bit intimidating for her, causing a touch of jumpiness. However, once outside, Little Mama transforms into a sweetheart, showcasing a calm and sweet demeanor on the leash. Her preferred outdoor activity is leisurely sniffing around, enjoying the scents of the world around her.Little Mama is not just a loving companion; she's also a smart and trainable one. She already knows the sit command and is highly treat-motivated, indicating a potential repertoire of other tricks. With her intelligence and eagerness to please, Little Mama is not only very sweet but also ready to learn all kinds of new things, making her an adaptable and delightful addition to a patient and caring home.In a recent playgroup session, Little Mama never really settled into play. While she ran around the yard with a male dog, she was mostly hunting him, and making sure she kept a watchful eye on him. She may settle but it is more likely that she is dog selective. Slow introductions over time are strongly recommended to ensure an amicable relationship can be built. Little Mana is heartworm-positive, but it is treatable and not contagious.
