Lucille is such a wonderful girl! She loves to hop and gets so excited when she sees her human and dog friends! Lucie is a smart girl who is ready to learn all about being a great pet. Before coming to OK Humane and settling in with her foster family, sweet Lucie never had much stability or structure in her life. She's a kind-hearted girl who is eager to please her people. Lucille is looking for a patient home where she can grow in confidence, learn some new skills, and safely explore the world around her! In her foster home she's working on leash training, house manners, and respecting others' boundaries. Lucille also loves riding in cars and is potty trained! She does great in her kennel most of the time, but is still a young lady and can get pent up easily if not exercised. She is a curious girl who loves to explore and experience new things! She is VERY interested in cats and may do best in a home without them, but has never met one face to face. She's done great with dogs of various sizes, including smaller ones, but prefers to play with friends around her own size. She can also be LOUD when playing, and may do better with friends who are extra patient with her. Shortly before she came to OK Humane, Lucie was involved in an accident that left her badly injured. She has recovered very well but still has the scars to tell her story and later in life, may develop arthritis. Due to her "happy tail," she had to have her tail amputated, but has recovered nicely and wags her nubby tail so hard! Lucie would be a great fit for a home that can keep up with her energetic needs, while giving her all the cuddles she craves!
