Meet Mary Kate, a 1.5-year old female Hound mix.Mary Kate is a social and active girl. She has an athletic build with a personality to match. Mary Kate and her friend Ashley were tied together and dumped at the shelter. They are great girls but do need yards with high fences so they don't get themselves into trouble. They both love to get pets and are eager to give out kisses. These ladies will follow their noses and they love to explore the park. Come take them for a walk today! They do not need to be adopted together. This pet is available for adoption at the Ellensburg location.If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Sunday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known.
