She’s an A+ fantastic dog that gets along with all dogs she’s met and she loves to play chase for her favorite toys too. She’s well mannered, great on a leash, seems potty trained, and has no issues with toys or treats around other dogsShe's mellow and relaxed and also knows when to play when the time is right. We’re unsure of where she’s been, but she appears to have had a litter or two in the past. She’s such a great girl and she deserves to hit the jackpot in life!Monopoly was rescued from a shelter in New Mexico.Meet and greets are by appointment only. Adoption fees help cover the medical care of the animals while he or she waits for a new home, as well as food and transportation costs. These fees help to provide care for the other animals in the shelter or rescue group who may have medical bills that are much higher than any possible adoption fee. The money also acts as a donation to help support the organization as a whole, allowing the group to continue its efforts to rescue and rehome pets. The dogs in our care are fostered in Colorado, Texas, and New Mexico. While all dogs are picked up during our scheduled times, sometimes transport dates change due to unforeseen circumstances. A new study has concluded that (in layman's terms), breed assumption is NOT indicative of behavior in mixed breed dogs. Therefore, if a dog looks presumably to be a German Shepherd breed, one cannot assume the dog will have a high prey drive. From the study: "Although many physical traits were associated with breeds, behavior was much more variable among individual dogs. In general, physical trait heritability was a greater predictor of breed but was not necessarily a predictor of breed ancestry in mutts. Among behavioral traits, biddability—how well dogs respond to human direction—was the most heritable by breed but varied significantly among individual dogs.
