This gorgeous girl with the classic German Shepherd look will wiggle her way into your heart and turn heads in your neighborhood. Sweet and loving Nala loves getting petted all over in exchange for hundreds of doggie kisses. Young and active, Nala can’t wait to jog beside you on a walk or pal around with other dogs at the park. In her playgroups, she wags her tail and invites other pups to play – she is such a social butterfly! With people she is eager to please, takes treats gently and considers life a constant journey of discovery. She can’t wait to show off her “sit” and “down” for you. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
