Pep recently went on a Dog Day Out and here's what his DDO buddy had to say! "Want a cute adventure buddy who will keep up on the trails and then want to hang out at a brewery to say hi to all the peoples? Pep's your boy! This 1.5 year old boxer mix is a loveable ball of happy energy, and just wants to be close to you. Added bonuses: Velvety soft big block head! Good on a leash (after he gets his post-shelter wiggles out). Takes treats gently! Gives big kisses! Thinks he's a lap dog One very bouncy ear that makes me smile as we walk. He was very chill with bikers and runners while we were on our day out, and was calm when unexpectedly approached by a kiddo. He doesn't love the car but will let you pick him up to help him in and is okay after that. Although we kept our distance today, Pep seems interested in meeting and playing with other dogs! Pep will be such a good companion for a person or family looking for their forever-pet." As always, we strongly recommend bringing any resident dogs to the shelter for a meet and greet with potential new family members to be sure it's a good match. If bringing a dog for a meet and greet, please bring proof of up to date rabies, bordetella, and DHPP vaccines. To meet your future pet, come to Guilford County Animal Services between 12 and 4 any day except Tuesday!
