We are currently taking applications only for this pet. He is not in a public area for viewing since he is a little nervous at the shelter. Pogo II was brought in as a Cockapoo weighing 25 pounds. He has a strong resemblance to a cocker spaniel and his date of birth was 8/7/23. As a young puppy he showed no signs of aggression and was good with all ages as well as dogs and cats. However, Cockers can be sensitive little souls and prefer gentle handling and a lot of training. We are recommending a home with children over 6 and an owner that can provide a lot of supervised activity for this growing dog who will finish medium-sized. His adoption fee is $150 which is not affected by reduced fee events.HSPC's adoption fee is currently reduced from $100 to $75 unless stated otherwise within the pet's description. Every pet that is available for adoption has been spayed/neutered, microchipped, wormed and is up-to-date on vaccinations including heartworm preventative (canines). Adopters are required to schedule a wellness exam with their veterinarian at their cost within 7 days of adoption. We are currently closed to the public and we will only respond to inquiries accompanying an application submitted through warmhearts.org/adopt.
