Meet Queenie, the gentle giant with a heart of gold! This 80+ pound sweetheart is always ready for some affection and pets. Queenie is a seasoned observer. She is a mature dog that loves a good easy walk and does not pull on the leash, loves a good scratch and is a natural protector of her humans. She has adapted well from her previous home, which says a lot about a dog that is a little older and sees the change around her. If the weather permits, she enjoys resting outside as long as she is allowed. If her human has a fenced in yard, and rather not too many steps for her to go up and down, she will be happy and thankful.Queenie loves treats and eats her dry food without a problem. She gets along with other dogs but might do best as only pet or with another really easy going dog. She has also done well with cats and turtles; however, slow and supervised introductions are recommended. With her loving nature and impeccable manners, Queenie is ready to find her forever home with a family who will cherish her for the amazing companion she is for the rest of her days.She is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and she is spayed. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times.
