Location: Viborg, SD Hi there! I'm Rachel, and I'm just about the sweetest gal you could ever meet! I am pretty shy, although that may change as I get more used to my surroundings. You see, up until recently, I was kept as a breeding dog, so I'm still getting used to things like toys, treats, and the kindness of people. But my foster mom says I sure do want to be loved, and I think I have a lot of love to give! A home with older kids or with no kids would be best for me, and also one with no puppies. However, I would benefit from having an adult dog around who could show me the ropes! A canine pal could be just the ticket to helping me learn how to adjust to this big, wide world I'm in now, and the companionship would be very good for me. I love my dog bed and also taking naps on the nice, cool floor, and I mostly stay in the same spot during the day, though I've been getting up and roaming around my room a bit more lately. Right now my foster mom carries me outside to go potty, as I'm still not quite confident enough yet to get outside on my own. I prefer to eat and drink when no one else is around, and I really like it when my foster mom leaves a treat out for me to discover! Oh, also, I got groomed the other day, and the groomer said I did fantastic. One thing's for sure: I'm smart and sweet and ready for a forever home where I can relax, enjoy life, be loved, and love you lots and lots in return! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
