From the Foster:Hello!My name is RAIDER (A615750)! I am a 3 y/o 50lb Lab Mix that that was found as a stray on the Riverwalk near Houston and St. Marys in downtown San Antonio. When I was found I was giving directions to tourists with such confidence people thought I was part of the Riverwalk tour! These nice people found me and scanned me for a chip. They were able to reach my original family. That family loved me very much but due to financial hardship had to find me a new home. That new owner that took me in failed me and dumped me! You think I`d be upset, but I`m actually very optimistic. The couple that found me fed me, gave me a quiet couch to hang out on, and told me that the ACS is the best and finding forever homes. I`ve even talked to my original family who really do miss me, but I understand they want a better life for me. I told them I`d make them proud by being the best doggo in Bexar county! I am black from head to toe EXCEPT I have one paw that is white! It looks like the printer ran out of ink when God was making me. I call this my magic paw and whoever holds it long enough will be granted three wishes. First, I will give you unending loyalty and love. Second, I will be there for all your adventures and life milestones. Third, I will always be the goodest boy. My foster says he is really impressed with how he can trust me alone in the house. He says I`ve been extra careful not to chew anything and play with anything other than my toys. When we are on walks, he says it`s so easy because I hardly pull, unless one of those fat lazy squirrels in the park needs a good scare. I`m polite to strangers when I meet them and if my foster is talking, I`ll lay down and sploot. On hikes I really get to show my athleticism and endurance. My first mom says that I love car rides so much that I`d sneak out with the kids, hoping we were going to get a Pup-cup. I do like hiking and camping and trips to Home Depot. The fresh cut wood smells so good. I have a weakness for hotdogs. My foster says that if I had a voice, I`d sound a lot like, Chris Pratt, confident and affable. I’d love to complete your family if you have room in home and heart. I would do best in a home with another calm and social dog or alone as long as you give me attention and let me follow you around the house. I am a lab so if I am in a yard there is a good chance I will try to dig or explore what`s on the other side of the fence. If you would like to meet
