Hi! I'm Rosie! I'm from Missouri! Hi! I'm Rosie. I know that perfect doesn't exist, but I'm incredibly close. I am 2 years old approx 33 lbs, and come from Missouri, before I found home in MN. I am SO sweet, SOOO soft, calm, at times timid, and at times playful. My foster mom says I'm beautiful, too. I love fetch, and I'm pretty good at it! I do well with dogs of all sizes, but I am shy with them at first. I also am shy with people, especially men. I don't bark often, but sometimes will bark at men (especially if wearing a hat). Once I get comfortable though, we will be great friends, with lots of cuddles and some kisses. Which reminds me, I don't lick a ton, but I do like to lick hands. I am completely potty trained. I sleep/hang out outside of the crate while my foster mom is at work (8hrs) and I keep her place in great condition (house-trained). I am not incredibly food motivated, so I won't try to get into your food, and I am not very tall, so I can't counter surf (not that I ever try to do that). I would be okay in an apartment setting, as I don't howl or bark much, and don't cry when I am alone. But, I would love access to a yard to play my favorite fetch and tug of war. I prefer to have a walk every day (we have been going on 1-3-mile walks daily). I can sleep in the crate overnight, but I prefer to sleep on the foot of the bed. I'm working on learning basic commands like sit, lay down, crate, etc. But, I am so mature and well-behaved on my own that my foster mom doesn't need to use these commands in most situations because I am so chill. I DO NOT like trains, and at times can get scared/anxious about certain things. When I feel scared, I may shake a lot, or hide out in small corners of your house. I just need someone to hold me and comfort me and I will feel okay. I don't mind rain or thunderstorms though! I take some time to adjust to people and new experiences, but I will get there. I am a little particular about walks. If I have experienced something scary on a certain route, I remember, because I am so smart, and will not want to go back on that same route. I generally like to explore new routes when I go out for walks. I can be stubborn, pop a squat, and refuse to move. Whoops! My foster mom has brought me to patios and I do great! I like to people and dog watch. I don't bark at other dogs or people. I even let the little kids pet me. (They say I remind them of Bluey). I don't shed a ton. They say I'm Aussie, but I wonder if I am a mix of some other breeds as well ;)
