HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Sweet Salma is a 2.5-month-old Lab mix with a radiant personality. Originally adopted from a Texas shelter at just six weeks old, she was a typical happy and healthy pup. However, by nine weeks, she was returned to the shelter suffering from a severe case of mange. It's unclear what happened during those three weeks, but it’s evident she was neglected, and those people didn't deserve such an amazing pup.When 2 Blondes saw her photos, they sprang into action. Salma was scheduled for euthanasia due to her condition and appearance, but 2 Blondes ensured this sweet soul's life was spared. She was immediately placed in a loving foster home in Texas, where she began her healing journey.Salma arrived in Colorado on May 24th, and she couldn't be sweeter or smarter. She's already fantastic with potty training, sleeps soundly through the night curled up next to you, and loves to follow her people everywhere to stay in the action. She enjoys playing with the resident dogs at her foster home and, being a puppy, delights everyone with her funny antics and love for toys. She has a true zest for life.Salma's skin condition is improving daily, and with a good diet and lots of love, she'll look like a new dog in just a few weeks. She is spayed and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Now, all she needs is a forever family!
