Sammy showed up at the shelter skin and bones. Her extreme emaciation was horrific to bear wittness to. However, Sammy has remained so postive throughout it all. She is such a lovely dog that wants to play, go for walks, and snuggle on the couch. Her past experiences of neglect haven't seemed to impact her deminor as she is just a lovely dog. However, the lack of food has caused Sammy to be a bit protective of her food around other dogs, and so she has to be fed separately. Sammy has been around children and men without an issue. She walks well on her leash and is slowly gaining her weight back. She is going to be a lovely dog for someone in the near future. We do have to complete a proper dog test to determin if she can be placed with another dog. If you would like to foster or foster to adopt this sweet girl, please message yes!
