Meet Sarabi, a four year old Husky mix. Sarabi came to us with an imbedded collar. She was brought in with Mufasa who also had an imbedded collar and her puppies which have since been transferred to another shelter for adoption. Sarabi's neck has healed nicely and she is now ready for a home to call her own. At 48 pounds this girl is a fantastic medium size. She is so friendly we joke she would go home with just about anyone. This leggy girl does jump up and put her paws on you but she is very gentle about it. We can't wait for her to find the home she has always deserved. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Sunday, that's right we are open all days of the week! A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
