Scampi is a little shrimp. She has a small stature but she is also underweight. Scampi is a special girl. After a few snacks, she sat without being asked and waited nicely for more food. She accepted our affection along with the treats. She likes to be close, probably more for food than us, but whatever. We will take all the love she has to give. She hasn't been cared for properly and is ready for a positive change. Came in as a stray on 4/30/24. Found near 4700 S Greenwood, Chicago Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL Email XXXX@cityofchicago.org for more information. The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after time for decompression for the shelter dog.
