Adopt Scrappy (Photos 4/9/2024) a Brown/Chocolate - with White American Pit Bull

Scrappy is a handsome 2-year old male Pit Bull Terrier/Hound mix who was surrendered by his family on April 8, 2024. Scrappy has a brown short smooth coat with white markings on his chest, a long tail, and a super sweet face with a black button nose on his chubby muzzle. Scrappy's left eye is brown. His right eye is white/brown (commonly known as a 'cracked glass eye') which gives him the appearance of being slightly cross-eyed. This good-looking guy was surrendered by his family because he was startled when a family member walked by when Scrappy was having his dinner, and he had the misfortune of nipping at their ankle. Scrappy was quarantined for the mandatory 10-days. He has been well-behaved in our shelter and has no further incidents. These photos were taken on April 9th while Scrappy was enjoying out-of-kennel time on a cool, breezy afternoon. We look forward to taking more flattering photos of this magnificent boy in the near future. Scrappy currently weighs 68 lbs. He will be neutered before being adopted by his new family.
