S'Mores is an adorable one-year old male Border Collie/Shepherd/Pit Bull Terrier mix who was surrendered by his family on May 24, 2024 because they could no longer take care of him. S'Mores has a brown-and-white short smooth coat, a white tip on the end of his long tail, and a beautiful symmetrically-marked face with hopeful trusting dark brown eyes, a black button nose, and large semi-erect ears. S'Mores has a wrinkled brow along with the cutest 'smile' and facial expressions. This young man has a very sweet disposition and is understandably a bit sad/confused as to why he is no longer in the home which he enjoyed for the past year. His family told us that S'Mores is good with children and cats. He has had limited experience with other dogs but seems to be ok with them. S'Mores is housetrained. S'Mores was a happy boy when HSOV Kennel Tech Emily Beaver accompanied him for outdoor photos on May 26th, and he was the perfect gentleman for Emily. S'Mores 'perked' up when he saw volunteers walking other dogs in the distance and appeared to be interested in making their acquaintance. S'Mores currently weighs 39 lbs and isn't a very large dog when you see him in person. S'Mores will be neutered before being adopted by his new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized). He could be fostered/fostered-to-adopt with an approved HSOV Foster/Adoption Application while he awaits his neuter procedure.
