-Personality: Taffy was found as a stray back in October of 2022, now over a year later he is still searching for his forever home. He is a playful pup who enjoys running around outside and receiving gentle affection when he is in the mood for pets. -Best fit: Taffy is a little nervous around new people and doesn't like young children. He can be a lot to handle due to his high energy and wouldn't be the best fit for senior citizens. -Can live with cats: Unknown, ask an adoption counselor for a cat test. -Can live with dogs: Taffy loves playing with other dogs if they can match his energetic, rough playstyle. He could run around outside for hours and still have energy! -Can't do apartment living: Taffy would love to have a private fenced back yard to run around in... an apartment might be a little small for this energetic pup. -Energy level: 4/5 -Things they love: Taffy loves treats, he will automatically sit in front of you in hopes of receiving a reward. -Things they dislike: Taffy is very nervous around strangers and will need slow introductions when new people are coming into his space. Introducing Taffy to a guest outside of the house rather than inside will be less threatening. -Other: Since Taffy lived as a stray for a while, and then spent so much time in shelter living, he is scared and reserved. It will take him a while to fully settle into a new home and trust his new forever family.
