We just can’t get enough of Toodie! This pint-sized princess is an all-around favorite. She’s teeny tiny and oh-so affectionate. Toodie walks nicely on leash, takes treats gently, is playful but not over the top, and really just an awesome little dog. We hope someone notices her soon— we’d hoped she’d be scooped up by now! Came in as a stray on 5/3/24. Found near 11240 S. St. Lawrence Ave., Chicago. Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL Email XXXX@cityofchicago.org for more information. The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after time for decompression for the shelter dog.
