I acquired my pet at the Jax Humane Society. I am a very experienced pitbull owner and have rescued many. I got Violet during the height of Covid and I was not able to socialize her in the way that I would have liked when I got her as a puppy. Violet has severe anxiety issues that make it very hard for her to integrate into our family. She lived at the start of her life with just my daughter and I. But now we live with more family and she has no quality of life because she’s fearful aggressive toward everyone that is not us. She has to be crated all the time. I am not getting ready to move states and I know that moving into an apartment is not going to work with her because not only is she a pitbull but she’s also fearful aggressive toward others. It breaks my heart to surrender her as I have never surrendered a dog, I have always only rescued. I sincerely desire for her to find a loving home with people that will love her for the rest of her life. She’s a sweet heart.
