Xena is a senior lady who loves to be petted. She likes tugging and chase but not car rides. She is leash trained and likes to lead the way in case you get lost. She likes to explore and might be a little stubborn when you are ready to keep going and she's not. She is easy to kennel. She weighs 70 pounds and likes laps. She can be a little wary around people she doesn't know and might bark a little until she realizes you mean her no harm. She came to CAP as a stray but we were able to get information from her owner during 2020. She is house trained and used to have free roam of the house but was occasionally crated. She tolerates children but doesn't want much to do with them. She did not behave well with dogs at that time but currently ignores her shelter neighbors. If you have a dog, you will need to bring it to meet her to be sure they get along. She knows the sit, stay, no, down, and off commands. She is protective of her family.
