Akbash Dog-Maremma Sheepdog Mix Puppy for Sale in MONETA, Virginia, 24121 USNickname: Litter of 7 We have an amazing Maremma/Akbash guardian dog and so bred this litter to reproduce his abilities. He is quick, strong, agile and devoted to our livestock. His father , an Akbash/ Maremma mix, sired this litter and the dam is pure Maremma. Her litter mates keep mountain lions at bay in Oklahoma. This breeding is extremely personable and gentle with people and lifelong friends to anyone who will scratch their bellies. We have seven wide-open puppies following Scisi and their mother,Sophia, around the farm. Actually, only 4 are left now. They are becoming old hands with the chickens and sheep-curious, watchful and nonaggressive. They have the received 6, 8 and 12 week vaccines and are wormed every 2 weeks. We serve a high quality science diet specific for large breed dogs. Their price is $500. Purebred LGDs are much pricier but we prefer the increased strength and performance of the Maremma Akbash mix.
