Doja (A131796) is a 2-year-old Pitbull who weighed 58.6 pounds on intake! 10/02/24 This beautiful lady is Doja, previously known as Nyluh. She is back at the shelter looking for her new home. She was said not to enjoy the company of the other doggo in her last home and would prefer to be the only dog in her next home. The queen of her own castle! Doja was said to do okay with cats but not so well with pocket pets. If you do plan on introducing her to new animals, please ensure you are making appropriate introductions. Doja was said to be very people-friendly and was described as outgoing, friendly, and affectionate. In her original home, she did not appreciate the toddler in her space, so she would prefer a home with no small children. Doja was said to be kennel trained and will whine/bark when she needs to go outside to potty. She was also said to ride well in a car and to know a few basic commands like sit and lay down. Nyluh was surrendered to the shelter because the toddler in the home was testing her boundaries and her owner didnât want an accident to happen. She was said to do well with babies and children but is not appreciative when they are in her face. She says please respect her boundaries! Nyluh was described as being a sweet and cuddly girl in her prior home! Nyluh was also stated to be housebroken, kennel trained, and to ride well in a car! She was said to know a few basic commands like sit, stay, and lay down and makes very intense eye contact when she is listening. Nyluh has a few naughty tendencies like counter surfing, getting into trash, and being a chewer. She was said to play rough with other dogs and can take a minute to warm up to new dogs. She has no prior history with cats, pocket pets, or livestock. Please ensure you are doing appropriate introductions with all new animals for the best chance at success! Nyluh is an active girl looking for a family that can keep her both mentally and physically stimulated. If you are interested in meeting Nyluh, please let us know! Nyluh did have a small mass removed which was sent out for biopsy. She will need to come back for staple removal on 7/26 and her biopsy results should also be back around that 10 day mark!
