ARE YOU A GIRL OR A BOY? I am a boy! HOW OLD ARE YOU? I was born on November 26, 2023. WHAT BREED ARE YOU? I am a pit bull mix. HOW MUCH DO YOU WEIGH? I am a healthy 45 pounds. WHAT DO YOU LOOK LIKE? I’m thick and chonky and tall. I have a mostly black head with a white body and black spots. Cute, right!? WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO EAT? I love my puppy kibble and Chew-a-Bulls. Foster mom won’t allow me to have any of her food. She is stingy and says human food isn’t good for puppies. WHAT KIND OF PERSONALITY DO YOU HAVE? I am a gentle soul who loves to be with my people. I’m eager to please my human as well. Very easy going and chill around the house when I’m by myself. My puppy energy comes out around other dogs. DESCRIBE YOUR PERFECT DAY: My perfect day is to wake up and go outside to lounge in the sun. I would get breakfast, lunch, dinner and multiple snacks in between. I must maintain my hefty figure! I like short walks around the block, but mostly a great day would be spent on the couch laying with my human watching TV. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE TOY? I don’t really have a favorite toy. I will play tug sometimes with my littermates, but I tend to just chew on sticks when I can find them. DO YOU KNOW ANY TRICKS? I know how to sit and take treats gently. Foster mom has been working on “down” with me and I almost understand what she wants. But I love getting treats, so I’m highly motivated to learn more tricks. Let’s do some training (with lots of treats please)! WHAT SCARES YOU? I take a while to warm up to new people and dogs. I can be vocal at first, but then I will chill out. HAVE YOU BEEN AROUND CHILDREN? DO YOU LIKE THEM? I get to play with a nine-year old and six-year old sometimes. I don’t mind them. They play ball with me and run a lot more than the big humans. DO YOU LIKE CATS? I’ve never met a cat before, so I’m not sure if I like them. HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT OTHER DOGS? I love other dogs! IF YOU COULD BE ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, WHERE WOULD IT BE? I just really love being anywhere my humans are. HOW IS YOUR HEALTH? I’m in really good health. WHO DO YOU LIVE WITH YOUR FOSTER HOME AND WHO IS YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION? I live with a bunch of big humans and sometimes little humans visit. I also have Uncle Monty (foster mom’s rescue pup who shows us the ropes). There are two other big dogs in the house, but we don’t get to play with them because they are “grumpy” old dogs. WHERE DO YOU HANG OUT WHEN YOU ARE HOME ALONE? I go to my crate when I am home alone. I don’t mind because I get to take naps in there. WHERE DO YOU SLEEP? I sleep in a crate at night. DO YOU LIKE WALKING ON A LEASH? I walk really nicely on leash, staying near my human. I love to go for short walks. DO YOU HAVE ANY "NOT-SO-GREAT" HABITS THAT WE SHOULD KNOW ABOUT? FOR INSTANCE, DO YOU BARK OR DIG IN THE YARD? I can be pushy with my litter mates when I play. Sometimes I need a time out. I’m still a puppy doing puppy things so I may or may not chew up my crate mats. ARE YOU HOUSE TRAINED? (MEANING DO YOU GO POTTY OUTSIDE) Definitely! I even go outside if it’s raining. DO YOU LIKE WATER? I don’t mind the water. Foster mom fills up the kiddie pool for us on really hot days and I’ll dip my paws in to cool off. I also like to sit and try to catch the water from the hose while foster mom is filling the pool up. I sit really well for a bath in the bathtub too. WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR FOSTER FAMILY? I love that my foster humans spend so much time with me and my littermates. They take us out to places to smell new things and meet new people. They take time to play with us and give lots of love. Best of all, I love that they love me just as I am. WHAT WAS YOUR LIFE LIKE BEFORE BEING BROUGHT INTO NORCAL BULLY BREED RESCUE? My momma was found on the streets when she was still pregnant with me. A kind person took her in and she had me and my littermates that same night. We’ve all been in a loving foster home since we were born. And now we are ready to find families of our own. I am very excited to learn what it feels like to have the love of a family of my own.
