Angie is a blue-eyed beauty with quite a compelling story. Like a lot of dogs, she found herself and her puppies in a high-intake shelter in Texas. As you can imagine, the shelter is no place for pups to grow. It didn’t take long until Angie’s puppies succumbed to disease and passed away, leaving Mama Angie on her own. Angie quickly found her way next on the euthanasia list due to space. She was down to the wire when a Colorado foster mama saw her story and immediately offered her home. Just like that, Angie’s bags were packed. She was quite shut down on arrival. However, in a few days she began to open up and engage. She even plays with her canine foster siblings now. She is a very human focused girl and doesn’t require dogs in her forever home, but she’d be totally fine with them, too. She’s an ultimate snuggle bunny and demands her spot on the couch. She is a friendly girl, goes potty outside, and uses a doggie door. She is also crate trained. Angie is only 2-3 years old, judging by her teeth however she isn’t what we’d call a high energy girl.
