Hi, friends! I’m Aurora! I am the absolute sweetest puppy you will ever meet! I love all people (adults, kids, you name it!) and love playing with my doggie friends. I joined the New Leash family this past week with my 6 siblings. We came from Texas, where we were found abandoned. We were pretty scared and all alone…but a kind soul found us, took us to the shelter, and soon we were on our journey north to Wisconsin. Now that we’ve arrived, we have started the search for families to call our own. We hear this thing called “forever” is pretty great!! I was born on 3/10/24, so am *almost* 12 weeks old. My mama is a husky mix (her picture will be in the comments!), but just am not quite sure who my daddy is. ‍ I am said to be a husky/heeler mix (with the biggest, cutest ears ), and will probably be around 65-70lbs when fully grown. Without a doubt, I am an ADORABLE pupper! I am currently working on potty-training; when let out regularly I’m doing really well! I'm also starting to understand that I need to walk to the door to tell my foster dad when I need to go potty. I am still getting used to my kennel, and sometimes can let out a bit of a “husky howl”…but after just a little time, I tend to settle down! My absolute FAVORITE things include cuddling with my people and playing with squeaky plush toys. They’re the best! I'm also beginning to understand what treats are, and think I’m really going to like them. I would do best in a home with a family with lots of love to give (cuddles, too! ), who has the time and patience to continue my training.
