Wags his tail whenever he sees someone and is always happy Knows most dog commands and is housebroken Likes other dogs and wants to play with them Loves being active in the house and exploring/running in the yard Makes himself comfortable on sofas and human beds Enjoys eating and gets very excited for treats Is calm and content hanging out in any room to take a nap Likes following people around to always be included His foster family discovered he is a “happy guy” wagging his tail and wanting to be involved in everything. He is a very energetic dog just wanting to be by your side. But when his foster mother works from home he curls up on the couch and sleeps (which makes it easy for her to have meetings). Snoop Dog is house trained, crate trained, and very well-behaved. Snoop Dog will be calm and lay quietly in the foster house when there is no activity going on. Then his eagerness to do something fun makes him happy and playful. He is extremely smart and is a “everyone” type of dog equally compatible with and equally loving all members of his foster family. He knows commands such as sit, stay, leave it, down, and no. He craves treats (and knows the word) and appreciates being rewarded. When someone comes inside the house, he/she receives a huge greeting from Snoop Dogg. Being the only dog in the house or living with another dog will be fine for him. Snoop Dog adapted immediately to his foster home and their two dogs. Based on the evaluation by his fosters he will fit in with a family where there is plenty of activity going on. A vet tech who got to know him while he was being boarded there for a few days told 4LD “Snoop Dogg is one of the best beagles I’ve ever interacted with. He is fully trained and never had an accident. He knows a lot of commands, has a great appetite, and is very friendly to everyone. And he’s the quietest dog in the boarding area.” The average lifespan for this breed is 14 years. Therefore, Snoop Dogg’s adopter will need to be prepared to care for him for around 10 more years so he will not have to move to a different home again. Snoop Dogg’s adoption fee is $500. This dog comes microchipped, neutered, and up to date on all necessary vaccines/rabies shots.
