Meet Bear, our handsome 2-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier/French Bulldog mix that is a combination of strength, curiosity, and love. Bear is very sturdy and strong, but also has an affectionate loving side who gets along well with other dogs. Bear has a curious nature and would enjoy adventures with his family. His softer side enjoys relaxing and unwinding with his favorite human. Bear’s ideal home would be one where he can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation, along with lots of love and attention. He’s a strong boy who would benefit from a family that can handle his strength and provide him with the guidance and training he needs to thrive. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet. You must apply on our Heber Springs Humane Society website.Adoption processWe have an adoption contract and adoption fees. The fee for a dog is $100.00 and a cat is $60.00. The fee includes mandatory spay or neuter and vaccinations. If calling about an animal you may have to leave a message. Your call will be answered as soon as possible.Shelter locationOur shelter is located at 49 Shelter Lane in Heber Springs, Arkansas. We are open Tuesday through Saturday from 12:00 pm to 4:30 pm.
