Calypso is actually not very big. In fact, this boy is short, long, and stocky. We really have no idea what his real breed mixes are, but based on color, physical appearance, and the common breeds around is how we based our guesses. Calypso has lived his life outside and his only experience with people has been since coming to the shelter. He's been quiet, shy, mostly shut down but let's the staff do what they need to. Including carrying him, vetting him, and letting us pet him. He is not leash broke yet and will definitely need help with learning house rules. Calypso is a clean dog. Despite having lived outside he came in very clean and he tries to hold it inside of his kennel. Are you the person that is going to show this boy how good life can be inside a home and with family? Calypso's adoption fee is $132.RCHS does not conduct DNA tests on dogs who enter our facility therefore we are unable to guarantee breed or breed mix. Information provided by shelter staff, volunteers, and veterinarians is used to give a best estimate as to a dogs breed make up. We do our best to inform adopters about the potential breeds for each dog.
