Hi there!! I'm Cookie! They call me that because I am as sweet as cookie (and dog cookies are yummy too!) Volunteers at the shelter describe me as a chill pup. I walk very nicely on the leash, I am easy to collar, take treats with a gentle mouth, and as you can see, I love to roll around in the grass and play! I look forward to getting to know you in my forever home. During playgroups it was determined it likely be the best playmate for a non-dominant, tolerant dog. She did not match well when other dogs were in her face or persistent with wanting her to play.Cookie has heartworms but it's treatable and not contagious. To help with the medical cost, a $400 sponsorship for treatment is provided by Friends of Wake County Animal Center.
