UPDATE!! This sweet litter were born in a local overcrowded shelter. They are 8 weeks old and have settled into foster care and are doing wonderful. Mom appears to be a purebred lab. She is 58 lbs now and likely will top out between 60-65 at a healthy weight. These babies appear to be all lab too but we have no idea what dad actually is. They are all around 6 lbs now and we believe they will be typical lab size as adults. They will be ready in next week once they are able to be altered and have their next set of vaccines. Get your apps in now on these cuties! Our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis and there is no fee to apply! We never state any animal is fully House-trained. All dogs have a $175 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter! Puppies will be altered before adoption. All rescues and shelters practice pediatric spay and neuter. This is essential in our rescue efforts and it is a policy that we will stick by. All dogs over 8 weeks and 2 pounds will be altered before adoption. There are no exceptions to this rule on all healthy and adoptable dogs. We have researched and discussed in depth with multiple vets everything on pediatric spay and neuter and from a rescue stand point it must be done. Please do not ask for an extension on spay and neutering, it will NOT be granted on a healthy puppy! Puppies/Dogs that are not available for adoption due to vetting not being complete can be reserved with an approved application and a non refundable $50 deposit. Deposits can ONLY be submitted once the rescue has been in contact on your approval and it has been requested through Wags and Whiskers. We do NOT adopt on a first come first serve basis, but to the home we fill is the best fit for that particular animal of there are multiple applicants. The adoption fee is $175 for all animals which includes all age appropriate shots, wormer, heart worm test if of age, rabies if of age, spay/neuter, monthly preventatives while in our care, and any other medical attention that may be needed.Shelter locationAll of our dogs are in foster homes, but we are very easy and flexible to set an appointment up with to meet one of our animals once the adoption application is approved. We also participate regularly at adoption events with other local rescues.
