Dobby is a bright, energetic pup looking for a home that wants an active fun loving doggo. Dobby is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, lymes/heartworm negative, flea treated, wormed, and microchipped. He does have deformities in his front legs, but that doesn’t slow him down. He loves to run and play just like any dog. We do currently have him on joint supplements though to help his legs as he ages. Dobby is crate trained, he’s still working on housebreaking, but has been doing good, and knows some obedience. He is dog selective, not good with cats, and no small children. Dobby loves to cuddle and play. Stuffies are his favorite toys, but he will play with almost anything. Dobby is a great dog with a lot of potential, he just needs someone to give him a chance. If you are interested in fostering or adopting Dobby, please complete an application. ***Dobby needs to continue with obedience training once he is in a new home. The rescue will assist with several training sessions***Adoption processOur adoption process consists of an initial application for the animal of interest, followed by reference checks (both personal and with a veterinarian), a home visit, and finally if approved an adoption contract. All animals are required to be inside companion pets and the owner must maintain veterinary care throughout the life of the animal. Adoption fees are $150 for dogs, unless it is fostered through us for another rescue and $75 for cats. All animals are up to date with vaccinations and spayed/neutered before adoption.Shelter locationArrangements can be made to visit with any of our pets, but because we are foster based and do not have one facility, appointments must be made to do so.
