Meet Champ This bio is Written by the Family member that is not in a position to provide Champ with a home. The referenced couple in the bio - one person passed and the surviving spouse has to relocate out of the country. I'm certain there is a Doodle lover out there that can appreciate his circumstance and his breed. Since he was a puppy, Champ was raised by an active older couple who loved to take him hiking, on long walks, for swims and boat rides in the lake, and general outdoor activities. Champ is good at following commands and was very loyal to his owner staying by his side even off leash. Champ is an alert and smart dog who loves to be shown attention and affection. Champ is very gentle with young children, but does need time to settle down when he first meets people. He enjoys engaging in games with the family. Champ at 8 years of age (85 pounds) has lots of energy, but also enjoys relaxing along with everyone else be it naps or TV time. Champ gets along very well with cats and small dogs - attitude towards large dogs is debatable. Champ would be a great addition for a family with a lot of outdoor space so that he can continue to explore and enjoy his active lifestyle.
