Hi there! My name is Elphaba, and I'm a 1-year-old terrier mix looking for my new home! I'm a super sweet girl who loves going for walks and exploring the world around me. I can be a bit nervous around fast movements and loud noises, so I would do best in a home with children over 10 who can respect my boundaries and provide me with a calm environment to help me feel safe and secure. If you're looking for a loving companion who enjoys peaceful walks and gentle affection, then I'm the paw-fect match for you! Masks are currently optional. View our Available Pets page and select a few that you would like to meet. Then download an Adoption Application and fill it out prior to visiting our shelter. Our adoption process is a walk-up and queue-based, first-come, first-served system. You will have a meet and greet with an Adoption Counselor to discuss your application, review information on the pets you would like to meet, and you will be introduced to the pet(s).If the Meet and Greet is a success, staff will complete your adoption paperwork to make it official! If your new family member is already spayed/neutered, they will go home with you right away!
